As part of the inaugural WIT Indonesia, set for March 27 in Jakarta, Web In Travel is calling for submissions from travel entrepreneurs who want to be heard at the event.
The WIT Start-Up Showcase is open to up to five entrepreneurs who will be coached by WIT’s panel of mentors and investors for their five-minute live pitch each at the Pullman Central Park Jakarta.
To qualify, the start-up has to be from zero to two years old and be related to travel. “We are looking for breakthrough ideas and smart, savvy entrepreneurs in the digital travel space who would like the opportunity to be coached and to highlight their company at our inaugural Indonesia conference,” said Yeoh Siew Hoon, editor and founder of Web In Travel.
“It’s a great platform for budding entrepreneurs who want to have their idea validated and have the chance to network with and learn from experts in the business.”
Five finalists will be chosen by the panel of mentors which includes Fritz Demopoulos, CEO, Queen’s Road Capital; Kei Shibata, CEO, Venture Republic Japan; Morris Sim, CEO, Circos Brand Karma and Brett Henry, Vice President Commercial and Marketing, Abacus International.
